1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Calcova application or website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Local Data Responsibility

Calcova is a local-first application. **We do not collect or store your data on our servers.** All calculation history and formula libraries are stored locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your data via your own cloud services (e.g., iCloud). We are not responsible for any data loss resulting from device failure or application deletion.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Calcova only for lawful purposes. Prohibited behavior includes attempting to decompile, reverse engineer, or otherwise extract the source code of the application or its mathematical engine.

4. Subscription Terms

Calcova Pro is offered as an auto-renewable subscription:

  • Billing: Payments are charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
  • Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • Management: You can manage or turn off auto-renewal in your App Store Account Settings at any time.

5. Refund Policy

Refunds for subscriptions are handled exclusively by Apple according to their App Store policies. Calcova does not have the authority to issue refunds directly.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, mathematical algorithms, UI design, and branding associated with Calcova are the exclusive property of Calcova and its creators.

7. Limitation of Liability

Calcova is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. While we strive for extreme mathematical precision, we are not liable for any errors, inaccuracies, or damages arising from the use of our software in any context, including professional or academic work.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service periodically. Your continued use of the application following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
